See Kai Run For Haiti
Dear Friends of See Kai Run,
By now you have heard about the overwhelming devastation caused by a 7.0 earthquake, which struck Port-au-Prince, Haiti on Tuesday evening, and the desperate need for supplies and donations.
In response to the dire need, See Kai Run has put together an emergency shoe donation of nearly 3,000 pairs to help the children in this ravaged part of the world. The donated shoes will be distributed through Soles4Souls, the international charity dedicated to providing footwear to disadvantaged people around the world. According to Soles4Souls, a sturdy pair of shoes is absolutely necessary in times like these when the amount of broken glass, twisted metal and raw sewage is staggering.
What Can You Do to Help?
Soles4Souls accepts ongoing shoe donations from individuals and retailers. You can donate new or gently worn shoes that are just taking up space in your closet -- every little bit counts. Just bind each pair with rubber bands and drop them off at a participating location. Or, send them to a Soles4Souls warehouse facility.

Cant Live Without it #3 - Peek-A-Boo Clip
Breastfeeding is hard, especially at the beginning, any products that can help to make it easier and more convenient are going to be high on my list of must haves. Of all the products ive seen and reviewed though, one really stands out to me.
The Peek-A-Boo Clip by Bebe Dulce is a must for any nursing moms. It saves space in your diaper bag by turning a regular receiving blanket into a nursing cover. Even if you don't have a blanket handy, you can use your jacket, a sweater, basically anything to keep yourself covered. The clip comes in 12 different patterns and is adjustable from 9" to 30" long perfect for any mother and baby to have privacy while nursing in public.

Cant Live Without It #2 - AbdoMend
I had planned on having a natural birth, I read all the books, attended the classes, and mentally prepared myself for it. After 45 hours of labor with no progress however, I ended up with an emergency C section.
Recovery in the hospital as hard, i couldn't sit up, cough, sneeze, or even feed my baby without being in a lot of pain. Once I got home however, I was able to put on the abdomend belt and it changed everything for me. The belt held in my incision for me and made every day movements so much easier to handle.
The belt has an adjustable strap that allows me to tighten the belt as I regain my shape and is just as comfortable today (5 weeks post-partum) as it was in the beginning. Next time I ill definitely be bringing my Abdomend belt with me to the hospital, even if I plan on having a natural birth, because i know the difference it makes.
Cant Live Without it #1 - Baby's First Journal

I would have gone crazy without my GlowBaby journal. By the time e had left the hospital with Sophia, she had lost exactly 10% of her body weight, and so we had to be very diligent about feeding her. She was on a strict schedule of to hour feedings during the day and three hours at night, to complicate things further, my milk was slow to come in thanks to having a Csection, so I was also supplementing formula with each feed and pumping to increase my milk supply.
Combine this with the regular exhaustion of having a newborn and recovering from major surgery, and I was more than a little overwhelmed.
The Glowbaby journal was a major help in keeping my sanity in the first few weeks of her life, it had a simple layout where i could keep track of how often she fed, when i supplemented, wet and dirty diapers, whether I had given her vitamins, as well as when i pumped. Being able to keep all of this information together as a lifesaver, and until she was back at her birth weight this journal was within arms reach at all times. Definitely a must have for any new parents

One Month Old
I dont know where the time has gone, but my little princess is already a month old! As Im sure any mother can attest, the last month has been full of challenges (sleep, whats that?), and the most amazing rewards(snuggles!).
I haven't forgotten about my readers though, and i have so much to share with you. Including a list of the products I couldnt live without in the last month, which I'll be bringing to you over the next few days.
