Cotton Mini Monkey Flap Hat

Love Birds Onesie

This is a brand new Gerber onesie, size 12 months.

I appliqued a sweet little scene of two love birds made of vintage fabrics. They are stitched on with a machine applique stitch and I added some straight stitched details, like eyes, beaks, little feet and a heart. Their little wings are hearts.

The applique is a little stiff right now but should be more pliable once it’s washed. I didn’t use any stabilizer under it so it isn’t rough underneath.

I would advise washing this on the gentle cycle if possible, although regular cycle cold would probably be ok.
The birds bodies measure about 2 ½” across. The onesie snaps at the crotch and is 100% cotton.

Lulu is new here at Tiddlywinks! She's a SweetPea Bunny!

She stands about 12 inches tall. She's got safety eyes and a hand embroidered face. She's made from kitchy cute reproduction yellow floral feedsack and robins egg blue corduroy. She's got a tiny crocheted flower secured to the side of her face, cause she thinks it's pretty. :) She's perfectly snuggly, totally cute and best of all?? She's totally washable! :)

Red Rose Blooming, Sculptural Vase

Hand sculpted entirely out of paper and wire, ‘Red Rose Blooming’ lights up the room with an explosion of vivid color and texture. Abstractly modeled after roses in bloom, this piece has been sculpted to mimic the dips and creases of a rose in full bloom. The base has been indented to allow for a cone of hot pink to rise out of the vibrant pink and orange. Accentuated delicately with vibrant goldish orange tones, this piece has an iridescent quality about it. This piece took many, many painstaking hours to complete. I do not wrap these vases in a single sheet of paper. The colors are built up around the wire framing with hundreds upon hundreds of individually pieced pieces of paper. Set this vase in a sunny spot to allow for the full complexity of color and texture to shine through.
