Lust List - Flat Boots discount edition

Last week I posted about some great designer boots. They were all beautiful, but they'll definitely break the bank. Great boots can be found for less than a hundred dollars as well, because sometimes (always) I have better things to spend seven hundred dollars on than a pair of boots.

Lust List - Flat Boots

There was a time when I was heavily into heels, the higher the better. The thought of wearing a flat shoe was depressing, I mean what a waste of the bottom of a shoe!
Then I started working a lot more, in heels. Weekends were my time to wear comfier shoes, and the stilettos took backseat in my closet for slightly more practical footwear on the weekend. Then i got pregnant, and learned the joy of swollen feet and ankles. All of a sudden my weekend footwear was being pulled out on *gasp* a wednesday or thursday!
Chasing after kids became the final nail on the coffin of my "heels can be practical too" line of thinking. Dont get me wrong a sexy pair of shoes is still my weakness, and i still dream of laboutins and gucci stilettos. On date night, I like to wow my hubby with a short skirt and high heel combo, because face it nothing is sexier than heels. Its just that my life about more than sexy now, and for the park and grocery store that have become my stomping grounds a great pair of ballet flats is a whole lot more practical.
And now it seems my acceptance of the necessity of flats in my wardrobe has gone a step further, this season I find myself really wanting a pair of flat heeled boots. There are just so many great styles out there!
