The first seat is the original softer, neoprene scotchgard-treated seat recommended from birth to 12-18 months (similar to the seat on the 2008 model). The second seat fabric is called the XL and is made of a tougher, more durable material that allows more room for a larger child. The seat fabrics can be interchanged and switched on the same seat frame.
Front wheels are now split and have independent suspension for a smooth ride.
