Bath-time has always been a special time for me and my babies.
I've always forgone the fancy baby baths and seats, and opted instead to bathe with my littles, especially at the beginning. I love that it gives us a special time to just be with each other, and to relax and enjoy each others company. Its also a great way to squeeze some extra skin to skin time in.
Its a tradition I have continues with Z-man, we both love having the long warm snuggles in the tub and then wrapping ourselves up in one of our super big bath towels and snuggling and nursing until Zack falls asleep.
As wonderful as our baths are though, they do take quite a bit of time. We try to have one every other day or so, which is as often as we can time-wise.
This poses a bit of a problem because Z-man makes a lot of ... messes ( I will avoid terrifying you with the details of that). So at least once a day, and sometimes many times a day, Z gets a bath in the sink.
I don't know why I started bathing my kids in the kitchen sink, but I do find it much more convenient than the kids tub for so many reasons, less water, no toys to wade through, and most importantly, I can keep an eye on the other kids as I do it.
Bathing him in the sink however brings along a whole new level of
That's why I was so excited at the chance to review a hooded apron towel from Bamboobino. It has a great design, that wraps around you like an apron, which not only saves you from having to take a shower while your abby takes a bath, it also keeps the towel right where you need it. So at the end of bath time you just reach down and there it is, ready to wrap around your baby. Once baby is dry and warm, the neck straps easily Velcro off to allow you to lie baby down to be diapered and dressed.
The towel itself is so super soft and big enough to wrap around even my chubby six month old. I'm definitely a fan.
And you want to know the best part of all?
Bamboobinoo has a provided a hooded towel to give away to one lucky reader!
"For tricky baby bath times, the Apron Hooded Towel is a wonderful solution. Hang it around your neck like an apron to keep your hands free as you bathe your baby (you'll also be protected from splashing!). When you take baby out you can hold her to your chest right away - and quickly cover her head and body with the rest of the hooded towel. When baby's ready to be diapered and dressed, the neck strap easily unsnaps."
