Are You A Damage Criminal?

I have always been an experimenter with my hair.  I love to try out new styles, cuts and colors.  I could not count the number of looks I have worn, and I’m pretty sure I have represented every single color rainbow at least once.  To this day, my mom still won’t let me forget the time I put my super long hair up into a ponytail and chopped it all off to my ears.

Since I’ve had kids, I may not have as much time to play with my look, but it hasn’t stopped me from trying.  Last summer and over the winter, my look of choice was long straight and platinum blond, I wanted to match my girls beautiful hair.  I didn’t realize when I started thought, that in order to keep that look up, it would mean dying it every three to four weeks, and ironing it into submission every.single.day.

After a few months of this rough treatment, my hair was really starting to show the damage.  I was noticing a lot of split ends, and rough patches.  It was getting harder and harder to properly straighten because of the amount of damage, and it started to become quite obvious that the iron itself was causing significant damage to my hair.  Instead of gliding from root to tip like it used to, my iron started getting caught in the rough patches, and my hair was starting to snap off near the ends.

Finally at the beginning of spring, I  knew I couldn’t keep this routine up, and keep my hair, so I chopped off a ton of length and went back to a color much closer to my natural hue.
Even with the darker hair though, the damage was still quite visible, and even worse, my hair was starting to weaken and break.  My pillow in the morning was always covered with sad little broken strands, and my hairbrush could usually pass for a small dead animal once I was through brushing. I knew something had to done, and when I was given the chance to try Fructis Damage Eraser, I jumped at it.

Fructis Damage Eraser is the latest in hair care innovation by Garnier, that can reconstruct your dry and damaged hairs own strength by 90%.  Designed for women who are “Damage Criminals”, women who love their heat styling tools, women like me, who’s quest for the right look has resulted in sad damaged hair.
For the past week I have been using the shampoo, conditioner and strength reconstructing butter in my morning shower.  I started to see some smoothing and my hair felt great even after the first application, but now that’s it’s been a week, I’m noticing some really great results!  My hair feels softer, and the rough patches are a lot less rough.  Even better, now when I straight iron my hair, it actually goes smooth and glossy, without pulling or breaking.

I was worried that I may have to give up my straight iron completely, but it looks like me and my dear friend, can have a happy straight and glossy future together after all.

Are you a Damage Criminal?  Check out the Fructis Damage Eraser for yourself, and take advantage of limited time trial offers, you won’t regret it.

  1. I have very curly/wavy hair so I tend to use my flat iron and I know it totally damages my hair. This shampoo made my hair feeling SO smooth after even just one use! I loved using it!

  2. I have to admit I wasn't sure how this would work on my curly hair. I find most damage control products weigh my curls down and leave my hair dull with build up. But I was pleasantly surprised. My curls are nice and bouncy and my hair is starting to feel a little less dried out from those days I break out the flat iron.

  3. My hair is dead, VERY dead. It's from years of not being nice to it, and the medication I'm on. I'm actually chopping it all off on Wednesday and getting extensions. I need to start over.
