The Perfect Hamburger

Ive tried many different recipes for hamburgers. 
Ive used pork, beef, bison, turkey, chicken, and even vegetarian.  In all of my experimenting, the main lesson Ive learned is that simple is best. 

My favorite hamburger recipe is a simple combination of ground beef, ground pork, egg, breadcrumbs, and some simple seasonings.
This recipe will make 6 good sized burgers.

1 lb pork
1 lb beef
1 egg
1/4 cup bread crumb
salt and pepper to taste

Mix it all together in a big bowl, let sit in the fridge for half an hour, shape into patties and toss on the grill until the juices run clear, about ten minutes.
